CDO as a Service

Instead of paying someone to solve your problems by the hour, you pay someone for the solution itself. Buying consultancy services by the hour has been the norm for decades, and there are some fundamental problems in this way of pricing and paying for services. The customer’s goal when buying consultancy services is to solve problems, and the goal of the consultant is to invoice as many hours as possible while solving problems. Conflicting incentives and motivations become a problem because customers and consultants lack goal alignment, in combination with a skewed power balance in favor of the consultant in terms of knowledge and expertise about the problem at hand. This makes fair pricing of the value created difficult both for the customer and for the consultant if done by the hour.

The service we propose as a solution to this problem is the following

  1. You (the customer) and Addwize agrees on scope and what type of expertise you need to solve your challenge.
  2. Addwize put together a team of consultants that match scope and expertise needed. The subscription details are then adjusted accordingly.
  3. Addwize propose a suitable subscription fee, considering: scope, project length, expertise needed, and on-site involvement.
  4. The subscription goes live

You will have access to the team’s combined expertise/experience as a subscriber to the service.

You may terminate your subscription at a months’ notice

You may paus the subscription one month a year.

The subscription does not include travel expenses and accommodation.

The subscription is evaluated and adjusted (if needed) at an agreed interval (every two months e.g.)
