My philosophy is that everything can be fixed with Google and some elbow grease.
I love to find solutions for everyday issues. With a background as a mechanic, there is nothing more satisfying than for example repairing broken electronics or making a new part using CAD and my 3D printer to save something that otherwise would have been trash. It’s also great for the environment!
My job: Fixing stuff
My tasks in Addwize are somewhat diverse depending on the customer. But the overall responsibilities are to consult the customer on how to handle their product’s lifecycle. This includes change management, quality assurance, supplier management, and solving other challenges the customer faces when introduced to a new IT system. Some customers are more mature than others, so more often than you think, my role is to help the employees in the company to adopt to a new way of working, which in turn leads to better control over their products. It’s no use having a PLM system if no one uses it right? I also do configuration and programming related to the different types of systems to tailor the system to fit the customers needs.
Fast-paced and flexible work environment:
I love working in a fast-paced work environment, where I am able to help others. As a result Addwize gives me the freedom to work from everywhere in the world, as well giving me the opportunity to evolve myself and increase my knowledge.
Favorite product:
Probably my iPhone. Although it’s 5 years old, has a broken screen and has seen the pavement one to many times it has never let me down. Should probably fix it one day…
